SD Card Only Works Once After Each Reboot
One card does not work, even if plugged in during boot. Judgement call. I went to settings applications and loaded all the apps there,backed out and all sd card aps are now loaded and usable. HP does not provide this on their support page for this model computer. this contact form

How did I get it out? I don't use SD cards daily. Accidentally I found the solution :-) May be ( this is my simply opinion ) some timing in Linux kernel/drivers is not long enough and after years of use the contacts As mentioned in the original message, the SD card was formatted to be internal storage.

Why? Certain apps are allowed to run off SD cards but that function is rendered useless when the base device has a broken failsafe that deletes these apps upon reboot. this helped me in 2016! I'm going to waste another day trying to fix this up or I'm going to have to reinstall W7.
