I have tried so many things. In Windows 7, you would press the WIN key, start typing in your search term, and then press ENTER to launch the program. It can't not find what you looking for and it slow like a turtle and less options. Since then it has been fine.
Shoddy problem tho, it should have justed worked from the upgrade.
Can you measure telemetrically how much people will use the mouse and how much tendinitis people will have? I have no problem with anything in this Developer Preview and can't wait for updates. I would be very concerned, but I have found that this search doesn't find all .xls files. Are you kidding me? Search Box Windows 10 Not Working This makes it easy to add more terms to the query and quickly narrow down the set of results to find the one you want. The result is an unordered list of apps, some of which don't even CONTAIN the letter 'm'. Use shortcuts to save your time.
Maybe try that simple trick: when I press the Win key, darken the desktop and makes the Start Screen appear smoothly on top of it.
